(“NetPlenish,” “we,” “our,” “us“).  We respect the privacy of your information and are committed to protecting the personal information that you (“you,” “user“) disclose on our Site.  This Privacy Policy describes how we will use and protect your personal information.

This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Use and applies solely to the NetPlenish Site.  By using the NetPlenish Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

Visiting the NetPlenish Site

We are committed to delivering web-based technology and services that provides a convenient way to replenish consumable products while saving money and time.  In addition, we are equally committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our Site and use our services.

You can visit many portions of the NetPlenish Site and use some features anonymously.  In other instances, we collect certain information about you as set forth below.

This Privacy Policy is provided to inform you of the kinds of information we may gather about you when you visit the NetPlenish Site and use the services provided through the Site (“Offered Services“), how we may use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to correct, the information.

Notification of Changes to our Privacy Policy 

We may modify or amend our Privacy Policy from time to time.  All changes will be effective immediately upon their posting to the NetPlenish Site.  Significant or material changes will be posted conspicuously on the Site for a period of time.  If you are a Member, as discussed below, we will provide notice of material changes by either sending you an email or by notifying you when you log in to your NetPlenish account.  Information collected before changes are made will be treated in accordance with the previous Privacy Policy.  Each version of our Privacy Policy will be prominently marked with an effective date.

CONTINUED USE OF THE SITE AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF A PRIVACY POLICY WILL INDICATE YOUR AGREEMENT TO ANY MODIFIED TERMS.

Visiting Other Websites

The NetPlenish Site and email communications from us as part of the Offered Services often contain links to other websites that are not operated by NetPlenish (“Third Party Sites“), such as the websites of merchants, advertisers, information providers, and social networking channels.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these Third Party Sites.  We advise you to read the privacy statements of any Third Party Site to understand their privacy practices before using the Third Party Site or disclosing any personal information on them.

Collection and Use of Anonymous Information

When you visit the NetPlenish Site, we automatically record anonymous information (i.e., information that does not personally identify you) about your visit.  This information may include your IP address, operating system and browser version.  We use this information to generate usage statistics and to ensure that the NetPlenish Site and Offered Services are accessible to the widest possible audience.

We may also track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information (“Aggregate Information“) from Site users.  This Aggregate Information is used to help us diagnose technical problems, administer the NetPlenish Site and Offered Services and better evaluate the products and services that are most appealing to different segments of our Members.

While we may also collect information that could be used to personally identify you (see next section) and while we include certain anonymous information in the account of a Member (see next section), we do not otherwise link the anonymous information discussed in this section to any personally identifiable information that we may collect.

Collection and Use of Personally Identifiable Information

In order to use the Offered Services, you will be asked to become a Member by completing a registration form and creating an account (a “Member“).  If you become a Member, you will be asked to provide a user identifier, such as your email address, (“User ID“) to access your NetPlenish account.  Basic contact information is required in order to open a NetPlenish account.  The minimum level of information necessary to create an account is your name, full address, email address, family size and any children’s ages.  In addition, we also give you the opportunity to provide other information which will allow us to better personalize the Site and our Offered Services to you.  This other information may include your birth date, gender and other demographic information, and your hobbies and interests.

When you become a Member, you are automatically signed up to receive communications, such as alerts, newsletters, subscriptions, offers, surveys and/or coupons from us.  In the event you cancel your membership, we will no longer send you such communications.

We may also use your personal information to auto-fill registration forms in connection with offers from our advertisers, merchants, and marketing partners (collectively, our “Trusted Partners“).  You have the chance to review this information before submitting any auto-filled registration form.

In addition to the information collected during the registration process, as discussed above, we may collect personal information from users during their use of the Site or the Offered Services.  For example, one way we collect your information in surveys.  In addition, as you use the Offered Services, we may also track the consumable items that you specify and/or show interest in, your purchasing habits with regard to those items, and collect your bank account information to permit us to facilitate your use of our Offered Services.

We will not ask for your credit card information during account registration.  Instead, we collect your credit card information when you make a one-time purchase or set up an item for automatic replenishment.  You will have the option of allowing us to retain portions of your credit card information for future automatic replenishment transactions that we make on your behalf.  For security and validation purposes, we do not retain the Card Verification Value (CVV) for your credit card.  To indicate your approval for each automatic replenishment transaction, you will be required to provide your credit card CVV in order to complete the transaction.  You can add, edit or delete the credit card information we retain on My Dashboard.

We may use the information we collect about you to provide you with special offers and advertisements that are selected to match your interests and to enhance our Site and Offered Services to make your experience more enjoyable.  We may determine your interests with (i) surveys and registration questions that you choose to participate in or respond to, (ii) the products you view, track, and purchase, and (iii) information about where you surf and how you search on the web.  Special offers and advertisements may be displayed to you using popup windows, in search functionality, on browser pages, web pages, and/or sent to you via electronic mail or postal mail, depending on which Offered Services you request and depending on whether the software applications that you use and your account preferences allow for such communications.  We are continuously working on improved forms of delivery which are also covered by this Privacy Policy including, but not limited to, mobile phone alerts, SMS, RSS Feeds and more.

We occasionally use third parties to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of any order or mailings, providing customer support, processing payment transactions, performing statistical analysis of our website and services, data verification, hosting certain websites and databases, and to provide analytics tools to assist us in testing and monitoring our user environment.  We will only permit these third parties to access, use and maintain the information that they need in order to deliver us the services and, in some cases, audit their right to receive payment from us.  They are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

Cookies 

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information relating to the user.  We use cookies on the NetPlenish Site during registration and at other times, including surveys.  Cookies contain information that allows us to recognize you when you visit the Site.  For instance, by setting a cookie on the NetPlenish Site, a user would not have to enter his or her name and email more than once to login, thereby saving time.

Cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users, to display the most appropriate advertisements, and to enhance the overall user experience of the NetPlenish Site.  For example, we may track the history of various special offers and advertising delivered by us, and your responses to them, in order to deliver more attractive offers.  We also use cookies to identify any Trusted Partner that may have been responsible for directing you to the NetPlenish Site so that such Trusted Partner may receive appropriate credit.  Even through we use cookies, accessing information that we deem confidential, like your NetPlenish account transaction history, your account profile, and your payment information will always require you to log in using your password.

If you choose to not have your browser accept cookies, you will be able to view the text on the NetPlenish Site.  However, you will not experience a personalized visit, nor will you be able to access some of the Offered Services.

Please be aware that some of our Trusted Partners may use cookies for the purpose of tracking advertising on our site.  We have no access to or control over these cookies.  This Privacy Policy covers only the use of cookies by the NetPlenish Site, not the use of cookies by any Third Party Site.

Web Beacons 

Web beacons are electronic images (also called “single-pixel GIFs”).  This technology tells us how many visitors clicked on key elements of the NetPlenish Site or viewed other personal communications, such as emails.  We may include web beacons on popup windows, in search functionality, on browser pages, web pages, or in email messages in order to count how many recipients have viewed these messages.

We may use this technology to access your User ID, but your User ID is the only personal information we use on web beacons. Web beacons may include other information that is not personally identifiable, such as NetPlenish offer details and transaction details.  We also use web beacons to compile aggregated statistics about NetPlenish Site usage.

IP Addresses

An IP address is a numerical label used to identify your computer on a network.  We make a record of each user’s IP address.  For logged-in users, IP addresses may be connected to your User ID within our system.  We collect and use IP addresses to assist in logging certain click-stream information, as further set forth below, in order to analyze trends, administer the Site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  We may also use IP addresses to track abuse of our system.

We may also retrieve the following information from you or your browser:

  • Your browser type (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari).
  • Platform-dependent information (e.g., Windows).
  • Requested document (the page you’re looking at).
  • Referrer URL (the page you came from if within the NetPlenish Site).
  • Date and time of your visit.
  • The details of any transactions and purchases you engage or have engaged in with us or our Trusted Partners.

Additionally, for each visitor to the NetPlenish Site, our server automatically recognizes the following:

  • Host origin of the request (your IP address or that of your ISP if using proxy servers)
  • Requested document (the page you’re looking at)
  • Referrer URL (the page you came from if within the NetPlenish Site)
  • Date and time of your visit

The information described above, sometimes called log-file or clickstream data, is used to monitor site performance and ensure the Site functions properly.  It may also be appended to your personal profile, using your User ID, so that we may further tailor the Offered Services to your interests.

Sharing 

We do not rent or sell your personal information to anyone without your express consent.

In order to provide you with information about offers and services you have indicated an interest in, we may provide certain of your personal information to our Trusted Partners to allow them to provide information about the offer or service to you, or to otherwise communicate with you about the Offered Services and/or their products and services.  We will disclose your email address and legal name or other identifying information only as necessary for such purpose.  Whether or not you decide to participate in such an offer is up to you and you may opt out of such offers and contacts as described below.  However, by participating in any such offer, or otherwise identifying yourself as a NetPlenish Member to one of our Trusted Partners, you are authorizing us to share and exchange your relevant personal information with that Trusted Partner.

Except as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose your personal information, without notice, unless required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the requirements of the law or comply with legal process served on us (such as in connection with a judicial proceeding, subpoena or court order); (b) protect and defend our copyrights or property; (c) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or violations of the NetPlenish Term of Use (of which this Privacy Policy forms a part); and (d) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the NetPlenish Site or other third party.

Optional Surveys & Contests 

From time-to-time the NetPlenish Site may request information from users via surveys or contests.  Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose information requested in such survey or contest.  Information requested may include contact information (such as name and address) and demographic information (such as zip code, age and other information).  Survey and contest information will be used for additional purposes as may be disclosed in any additional terms applicable to the survey or contest.  At a minimum, contact information for a contest will be used to notify the winners and award prizes and survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of the NetPlenish Site and continuing to provide relevant offers to our users via electronic mail.

Refer-a-Friend 

If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about the NetPlenish Site, we may ask you for your friend’s name and email address.  We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Site.  We store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and to track the success of our referral program.  We may use third party service provider to service various features on the NetPlenish Sites, Services and Apps.  This third party is not authorized to use this information for their own promotional purposes.

Your friend may contact us at [email protected] to request that we remove his or her name and email address from our database.

Offered Services

When you purchase an item on the NetPlenish Site, we track your activity using your User ID.  For the purposes of order processing and product delivery, we may share your name, email address, and shipping address with the Trusted Partner selling the item you purchased.  We may also provide additional personally identifiable information about you as we deem necessary for fulfilling your order.

We maintain records of the items that you track and show interest in (for example, the consumables that your have identified to us) and in the items you purchase from our Trusted Partners.  Users with a NetPlenish account may view their tracked products on the Site and view their purchase history as well as update their user profile and other preferences on My Dashboard.

Contact Pages 

We may also collect information about you on the Member Care contact page.  In the case of Member questions, we use any information you may provide to help diagnose a support issue and otherwise address your communication.  Although we collect this information, we may combine this with any information we have about your preferences or interests to provide you a better user experience.

Security 

We are committed to earning and keeping your trust.  We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect the security of your personal information that you submit to us by using industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.  We safeguard the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial processes.

The NetPlenish Site uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your sensitive information while you are on our site.  We secure your sensitive information with a digital security technology provided by ________, a trusted leader in digital security. While most browsers are SSL-enabled, we recommend that you verify that your browser is SSL-compatible and that SSL is enabled in your browser to benefit from this security protocol.

We process credit card transactions over a secure network and only display the last four digits of your credit card number when confirming an order.  To better protect your credit card information, be sure to log out when finished using the Site.

Except as provided elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we limit access to personal information in electronic databases to those persons (including employees and contractors) in our organization and to our contracted third party service providers that have a business need for such access.

Even though we have taken steps to protect your personal and financial information from being intercepted, accessed, used, or disclosed by unauthorized persons, you should know that we cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with personal information and use of the Internet.

Updating Personal Information 

If your personal information changes (such as address, email, or payment information, if applicable), you may visit My Dashboard to make the appropriate changes.  We request that you update your account when any of your contact information changes.

Members who no longer desire to use the NetPlenish Site, Offered Services, or receive future communications from us may cancel their NetPlenish account on My Dashboard or by contacting [email protected].

Protection of Children’s Personal Information

We do not publish content that is targeted to children.  We do not knowingly collect information about children.  Furthermore, we do not knowingly accept registrations from persons under the age of 18.  If you are under 18 years of age, do not register or submit personal information to us without your parent’s consent.
